East County Rising Action Fund works at the forefront alongside East County Rising Community Projects and East County Rising PAC to energize civic engagement and meaningful change in East Multnomah County. Our emergence was fueled by inequities and community needs identified in the aftermath of the 2016 Presidential election: to create a dynamic force that engages, educates, and empowers our pluralistic, multiracial community to uphold progressive values and ensure our voices are heard in the halls of power.
