You're Invited to Our 6th Anniversary Gala
Join us as we celebrate six years of organizing for an inclusive East Multnomah County. Our vision for deeper community involvement and elevating the voices of communities of color, women, LGBTQ+ and immigrant newcomers is strengthened by our grassroots civic engagement programs that build new leadership and mobilize volunteers To date, East County Rising has endorsed 79 candidates of which 68 have gone on to win their election. Plus, we have helped pass over a dozen of ballot measures including the historic Gresham Safety Levy which we negotiated to join and knockout on 4,600 doors in May leading to the first win in over 30 years.
Our guest speaker include one of our earliest supporters, retiring Congressman Earl Blumenauer, and Esperanza K Tevalon, a leading multiracial community organizer. Tickets start at $25 and includes an East County Rising membership for East County residents (from 82nd Ave to the Eastern border of Multnomah County including Centennial, Gresham, Fairview, Maywood Park, Parkrose, Wood Village and Troutdale).
We invite interested campaigns, groups and organizations to consider being a visible sponsor to help us achieve our goals for the November 5th elections and show your support for East County. Learn more here or contact ashton@eastcountyrisingaction.org/(503) 893-8529.
